VIRTUAL SPRING TRAINING CHALLENGE AND ADOPTION EVENT

Donate to Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society’s Help A Horse Fund:

In 2018, we held our first open horse show at the Jim A Dee Ranch in Sanger.  While the show was small, it was a lot of fun and a big success – we raised money to help needy horses and two horses (Fayhan and Sundae) were adopted!

The 2019 event was even better.  15 of our horses were adopted into loving homes and we were able to raise enough money to cover the cost of the event and prize money! The Challenge is an event in which professional trainers and non-pros work with a Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society horse for four months and then compete against each other for prize money.  The horses get training and then go up for adoption at the event!

In 2020, COVID-19 brought many challenges and we went virtual! We still had many horses receive training and go up for adoption.

A big announcement for 2021 – the Training Challenge will take place in Alvarado at the Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church. This facility is right off I-35 and will take place on May 15th.

We hope you’ll join us for this amazing event – the proceeds will support the horses of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society!
